Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hepto platform operated by Hepto ApS ("Hepto", "we", "us"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Hepto is an AI-powered creative operations platform for ecommerce brands. We provide tools to generate, publish, and optimize social media content using your product catalog data. Our service integrates with Shopify and major social media platforms.

2. Account Requirements

To use Hepto, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hepto to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
• Distribute spam, malware, or misleading content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access our systems beyond authorized interfaces.
• Resell or redistribute access to our platform without authorization.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your product data and any original content you provide. Creatives generated by Hepto using your data are licensed to you for commercial use. Hepto retains ownership of the platform, algorithms, models, and underlying technology.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. All plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hepto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim related to our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimers

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that AI-generated creatives will achieve specific performance results. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content generated by our platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
